Filing an application with the Tribunal

If you wish to file an application with the Tribunal administratif du logement, three possibilities are available to you. You will have to pay costs. Note that the costs exigible vary depending on the nature of the application.

Please note that an application received by the Tribunal on a holiday or after 4:30 p.m. on a business day is presumed to have been received the next business day following its receipt.

On-line

Filing your application on-line saves you time and travel costs. You must fill out the form on-line and pay the costs directly using a secure payment platform.

You can also use the tool for filing batches of applications (several applications together).

By mail

You can file your application by mail. Fill out the form on-line, print and sign it. You must enclose with your application a certified cheque, postal money order or bank draft made out to the ministre des Finances du Québec.

At our offices

You can file your application directly at one of our offices. Fill out the form on-line, print it and sign it. Next, go to one of our offices to file your application and pay the costs.
