The Tribunal administratif du logement is subject to the Act respecting Access to documents held by public bodies and the Protection of personal information, which recognizes every person's right to
- access documents held by public bodies;
- access personal information concerning him or her;
- have that information corrected if it is incomplete, inaccurate or equivocal, or if its collection, release or keeping is not authorized by law.
The Regulation respecting the distribution of information and the protection of personal information requires public bodies to systematically distribute information on their websites. That requirement is in keeping with the government’s determination to be more transparent with the public.
