Obtaining a Copy of the Recording of Your Hearing

To obtain a copy of the recording of your hearing, you can complete our form online, send it in by regular mail, or go in person to one of our offices. See the menu below for further details.

Broadcasting any audio recordings of the Tribunal’s hearings, in a public place or for the purpose of public broadcast, is prohibited.

By regular mail +

To send your request by regular mail, complete the  form online and then print and sign it.

Note

Fees are payable for all requests for the recording of a hearing. Please note that if the payment is not attached to your request, your request will not be processed and will be returned to you.

  • Accepted payment methods: Certified cheque and postal or bank money order made out to the Minister of Finance of Québec

How are the required fees for the recording calculated?

The required fees for a copy of the recording of a hearing are applied under the Regulation respecting fees for the transcription, reproduction or transmission of documents or personal information (CQLR, c. A-2.1, r.3).

What happens if the recording requested is inaudible or it does not exist?

If the recording you requested is inaudible or does not exist, the Tribunal will contact you and the fees that you paid will be refunded.

If you submitted your request online, the refund will be issued to the credit card used.

If you submitted your request by email or at one of our offices, the refund will be issued by cheque.
