The Tribunal administratif du logement uses the plan as a tool for identifying and managing documents other than those held in the framework of its legal activities.

The plan is disseminated in order to make it easier to locate documents for the purpose of having access to them according to the Act respecting Access to documents held by public bodies and the Protection of personal information.
